Skagit Legal Aid is hosting a Free Legal Clinic where anyone from San Juan Island can meet with an attorney about any civil legal issue, including but not limited to the following: 

Calling all writers! Read your work in this monthly Open Mic event.

Stop by the Library's Main Salon of the Library to meet the Reading with Rover dogs. Say hello, read or show them a story, and get paw stickers!

Baby Toddler Time is a storytime and play group designed for caregivers with infants and toddlers. Explore Playing, Reading, Rhyming, and Singing combined with plenty of social and play time to support your little one's

Join us for Preschool Story Play, an interactive literacy and play-based storytime designed for children ages 3-5. Older and younger siblings welcome!

Drop in to join us for Library Makerspace from 3 - 5 pm! We will have crafter kits and equipment available for use in the Library Meeting Room. 

Weave a small tapestry using all types of colored yarn and a cardboard mini-loom. Materials will be provided but feel free to bring your own yarn if you so desire. Take home your small tapestry or cardboard loom at the end of the class!

In addition to our permanent collection, several times a year, the Library displays art by San Juan County artists-professional and amateur-in various themes and media.  The shows are organized by the Art Committee.
