Skagit Legal Aid is hosting a Free Legal Clinic where anyone from San Juan Island can meet with an attorney about any civil legal issue, including but not limited to the following: 

Calling all writers! Read your work in this monthly Open Mic event.

Ever wonder what’s going on around town? Now you can stay informed and involved with the library’s new monthly presentation program, Local Lowdown! 

Drop in to join us for Library Makerspace from 3 - 5 pm! We will have crafter kits and equipment available for use in the Library Meeting Room. 

Learn basic handbuilding techniques and create a set of ceramic goblets to drink fancy beverages.

Registration is required.

In addition to our permanent collection, several times a year, the Library displays art by San Juan County artists-professional and amateur-in various themes and media.  The shows are organized by the Art Committee.

Presenting the Reading Rainbow LGBTQ+ Book Club! Join the San Juan Island Pride Foundation for discussions of queer authors, diverse narratives, and the power of storytelling.

Stop by the Library's Main Salon of the Library to meet the Reading with Rover dogs. Say hello, read or show them a story, and get paw stickers!
