Purpose of Meeting - (Groups & Individuals)

Come join us for our annual membership meeting on April 10, 2024 at 5:30 P.M.

There will be a 30 minute business meeting starting at 5:30pm.  Author D.C. Alexander starts at 6:00pm.

This will be your chance to learn all about the current Board of Directors and what the Friends of the Library has been up to. You can help us make plans for the future. You will hear from current Board members and library staff. We will be here to answer your questions and hear your ideas.

At the conclusion of the meeting the membership will be asked to elect two members to each serve a three year term on the Board of Directors. The Board has nominated Stan Mayhew and Kathy Ballard to fill these positions. Each is currently serving as a Board member and is seeking re-election. We have two vacant positions on the Board. Please consider joining a fun, hard working group by volunteering to fill one of these positions.

Following the meeting, please join us for a special program featuring D.C. Alexander a former federal agent and author of “Friday Harbor”, a mystery novel set in the San Juan Islands during the prohibition era. His debut novel “The Legend of Devil’s Creek” was a #1 best seller.
