Now Hiring: High School Summer Interns

The San Juan Island Library is now hiring for our 2024 High School Summer Interns. Help with Summer Reading Program events for children and teens, earn extra money, and gain work experience for your employment and college applications!

Applications are now available at the San Juan Island Library's front desk. 

18.00/hour

Work Conducted from Mid June - Mid August

12-16 Hours a Week

• Must be a local high school student (currently in 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th grade and at least 14 years of age)
• Interns will work indoors and outdoors with some lifting of tables, boxes, and chairs
• Interns will interact with adults and children of varying ages
• Background check may apply to applicants
• Deadline: Position Open Until Filled
